The Constitution of ASUAF is the primary governing document that establishes the fundamental parts and procedures of the student government. Since it’s original drafting in 1923, the Constitution has been reviewed, amended, and updated over time to meet the needs and demands of the student body. Under Section 6, Any changes to this Constitution must be referred to the ballot in a general election, either by 3/4 of the Senate or petition signed by 10% of the student body.
